Prof. Dr. Veithzal Rivai, S.E., M.B.A.

Professor Veithzal Rivai is a Professor of Management and an experienced banker with 23 years of service at Bank Mandiri. In addition to his professional career, he is also an academic and a recognized expert in the field, serving as Chairman of Economics and Management, including Sharia Economics.

Actively teaches as a Professor of Management Science at a number of leading universities in the country including the School of Strategic and Global Studies, University of Indonesia. He completed his undergraduate degree at the Faculty of Economics - USAKTI, then completed his Master of Business Administration from the University of Missouri, USA and Doctorate from the State University of Jakarta.

In addition, Prof. Veithzal Rivai holds several competency certificates issued by the National Sharia Board of Trustees (BNSP), including CRGP., CRMP., CCWA., CP.NLP., and CHt. He is also a prolific author in the fields of management, finance, banking, and Islamic business.

In his organizational career, he serves as Chairman of the Expert Council of the Indonesian Islamic Economists Association (IAEI), Chairman of the Sharia Economics Society (MES), and Chairman of the Department of Education and Development of Banking, Capital Markets, and Financial Institutions (ICMI).
