DECE KURINIADI

Dece Kurniadi is a highly respected expert in the fields of Islamic finance and law, with more than 30 years of extensive professional experience. His professional capabilities encompass Islamic finance, risk management, and banking and finance, positioning him as a trusted advisor in the intersection of law, finance, and Sharia governance.

Dece earned his Bachelor of Laws degree from the Islamic University of Indonesia (UII), Yogyakarta, followed by a Master of Management in Islamic Finance from the University of Indonesia. He later completed his Doctorate in Law at Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta (Solo). In addition to his formal education, Dece holds numerous highly credible professional certifications at both national and international levels. These include the BPRS Commissioner and Director Competency Certificate and Risk Competency Certificate Level 6, issued by the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP). He also holds the KSPPS Sharia Supervisory Board Certificate Level 1 from DSN–MUI. At the international level, Dece is certified as an International Certified Islamic Financial Analyst, and has completed advanced programs such as the Islamic Research & Training Institute (IRTI–IDB) and Asian Middle East Dialog (AMED) Course on Islamic Financial Structures, as well as the Durham Islamic Finance Summer School at the Durham Doctoral Training Centre in Islamic Finance, United Kingdom.

He served as Expert in Finance and Agency Secretariat at the Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH) from 2017 to 2018. He was subsequently appointed Member of the Risk Monitoring and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) Committee at PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk (2018–2021). He later served as Independent Commissioner at PT BPRS Bhakti Sumekar (2020–2024) and as Deputy Director of Legal Affairs for Sharia Economic Development at KNEKS (2021–2025).

Currently, Dece Kurniadi serves as Commissioner and Finance Advisor at PT Wichindo Pratama and as a Senior Partner at RIVAI Business Consulting. His extensive experience, strong academic credentials, and international exposure significantly enhance the firm’s ability to deliver high-quality, compliant, and strategic advisory services, particularly for clients operating within the Islamic finance and Sharia-based banking sectors.
