M. SYAFRUDDIN

M. Syafruddin, widely known as Adin, is a highly respected professional in the banking industry with more than 35 years of extensive experience. Throughout his career, Adin has built a strong reputation for his expertise in banking and finance, corporate and SME financing, trade finance, guarantees and trade credit insurance, operational banking, international trade, as well as business and financial analysis.

Adin completed his early higher education at Academy YAI Jakarta, earning an Associate Degree in Accounting in 1985. He later strengthened his academic foundation by obtaining a Bachelor of Economics degree from Mercu Buana University in 2008. This solid educational background provided him with strong technical competence in accounting and economics, forming the basis for a distinguished and successful professional career in banking and finance.

A significant portion of Adin’s career was dedicated to Indonesia Eximbank (Lembaga Pembiayaan Ekspor Indonesia – LPEI), where he held a series of strategic leadership positions over more than a decade. He served as Head of Department of Consultancy Services (2009–2011), followed by his appointment as Head of Division of Guarantee & Insurance (2011–2018). He later assumed the role of Head of Division of Operations & Transactional Banking (2018–2019). In 2019, Adin was entrusted with the role of Acting Managing Director (PLT), reflecting the organization’s confidence in his leadership and strategic judgment. He subsequently served as Head of Division of Corporate Credit (2019–2020) and later as Head of Division of Trade Finance (2020–2022). Following his tenure at Indonesia Eximbank, Adin was appointed President Commissioner of PT PPA Finance (Persero) for the period 2023–2024.
