RIFWALDI RIVAI M. NOER, S.H., M.M., C.L.A.

Rifwaldi Rivai graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Indonesia and earned a Master's in Management from the Faculty of Economics. Rivai began his career in the banking industry after successfully completing the Officer Development Program (ODP) at Bank Duta. His career progressed from Assistant Manager to Assistant Vice President over a period of ten years (1990–2000). When Bank Duta merged with Bank Danamon, Rivai decided to take the Golden Handshake package offered by the bank, as he aspired to establish his own firm together with his colleagues

Since April 2020, he has established a law firm and immediately pursued the Capital Market Legal Consultant Certification Program. In 2017, he successfully obtained the Certified Legal Auditor qualification from the Legal Auditors Association (ASAHI) and National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP). Although he became a Corporate Lawyer, Rivai has remained actively involved in the banking industry. He served as a member of the Audit Committee of Bank Yudha Bhakti from 2007 to 2017, and of Bank Neo Commerce from 2017 to 2025. In addition, he also served as an Independent Commissioner of PT Island Concepts Indonesia, Tbk (ICON) and Head of its Audit Committee from 2010 to 2020, before being appointed as President Commissioner of ICON from 2020 to 2024.

In January 2017, Rivai and his friend founded Ritz Konsultama Indonesia (RKI). He served as the Founder and Managing Partner of the Consulting Firm until 2024. In 2025, RKI was transformed into RIVAI Business Consulting, a one-stop services consulting firm, after Professor Veithzal Rivai—Senior Banker at Bank Mandiri, Professor, and expert in Management including Sharia business—joined the firm.
