CORNU PRIMA

Cornu Prima is a seasoned professional in the fields of banking and information technology, with more than 40 years of extensive experience. He possesses a distinguished career path and in-depth expertise across both the IT and banking sectors, particularly in areas such as core banking systems, IT security, security and project preparation, IT review and assessment, management accounting and information control, as well as data management.

Cornu earned his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology (Institut Teknologi Bandung – ITB) in 1983. He further expanded his international exposure through the Overseas Fellowship Program at Carl Duisberg Centrum, Radolfzell, Germany. Over the years, he has obtained numerous prestigious certifications that underscore his technical competence and professional credibility. These include the COBIT Foundation Certificate and Online COBIT Foundation Certificate of Completion (2011), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification, and Certificates of Competence in Banking Risk Management Levels 1 and 2 issued by the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP) in 2012. In subsequent years, he completed advanced programs such as CISSP Exam Preparation (2013) and earned certifications in Penetration Testing and Digital Forensics Technology, Certified Information Security Management (CISM), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in 2014.

His professional career began in Germany, where he served as a Management Information System specialist at Nixdorf Computer AG (1986–1987), followed by a role in Data Management at the European Patent Office in Munich (1987–1988). Upon returning to Indonesia, Cornu held key leadership and expert positions, including Technical Support Department Head (Vice President) at PT Bank Duta (1989–2000), Core Banking System Analyst at the Bank of Tokyo (2001–2004), IT Review and Assessment at PT Bank Jabar (2004–2008), and IT Security Head at PT Bank BTPN (2008–2014). He later served as a Senior Consultant at PT Xynesis International (2015).

Currently, Cornu Prima acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the Banking Industry and serves as a Senior Partner at RIVAI Business Consulting. This depth of expertise significantly strengthens RIVAI Business Consulting’s capability to deliver high-quality, reliable, and strategic advisory services, particularly in supporting clients IT transformation and banking-related initiatives at both national and international levels.
